The Dutch film Buurman Abdi by director Douwe Dijkstra has a chance of an Oscar nomination. The documentary has been shown at more than 130 international festivals and has won more than fifty awards. Neighbor Abdi tells the story of Dijkstra's neighbor, who describes his life in Somalia after the war and the violence.
