Chinese filmmaker Wang Bing is the guest of honor at IDFA 2023. During his Guest of Honor Talk, he said that he actually did not intend to become a documentary maker. Wang Bing is known for his critically acclaimed oeuvre, including the film West of the Tracks. His new film Youth (Spring) will soon be released in Dutch cinemas.
