The competition for youth documentaries at IDFA 2023 is put together by filmmaker Niki Padidar. One of the selected films is the Dutch documentary "And a Happy New Year" by Sebastian Mulder, in which we see the world through the eyes of dogs during New Year's Eve. The competition offers a wide range of surprising documentaries, ranging from traditional to animated and also covers serious topics such as deepfake.
