Volker Bertelmann, also known as Hauschka, has been named Film Composer of the Year during the 23rd World Soundtrack Awards at the Film Fest Ghent. He won the prize for his scores for the films War Sailor, Memory of Water and All Quiet on the Western Front. Bertelmann has previously received nominations for the World Soundtrack Awards.
