A Kind of Testament, In attesa di una tempesta solare and Oiseau de passage were the big winners at the short film weekend of the 50th anniversary edition of Film Fest Gent. On October 15, the International Short Film Jury handed out the prizes during a well-attended Short Film Award Ceremony. A Kind of Testament by Stephen Vuillemin won the Award for Best International Short. In the Competition for Belgian Student Shorts, the top prize went to In attesa di una tempesta solare by Evi Cats. The audience voted Oiseau over Victor Dupuis as winner of the Audience Award for Best Belgian Student Short.
