Negotiations between the American actors' union SAG-AFTRA and the film studios and streaming services have been suspended due to a major difference of opinion over the terms. The stumbling block seems to lie with the actors' desire to generate income from streaming films and series. The studios have labeled this requirement an "unsustainable economic burden."
