Over the next three years, VRT will exchange more fiction series with seven other European public broadcasters. The collaboration, called "New8", will give Flemish fiction series a wider international audience and VRT will broadcast more international success series. The collaboration includes public broadcasters from the Netherlands, Germany and Scandinavia. The goal is to broadcast more strong international fiction and jointly have more impact on the international media market.
