Kees Holierhoek has passed away at the age of 81. Kees was at the origin of collective management for writers and translators in the Netherlands, with the most important achievement being the establishment of the Lira Foundation in 1986. Under his chairmanship, Lira grew into an organization with more than 12,000 affiliated authors.
