The Writers Guild of America (WGA) and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) have reached a tentative agreement after a 146-day strike. The negotiations were influenced by conversations between WGA presidents Chris Keyser and David Goodman and key executives including Sony Pictures Entertainment's Tony Vinciquerra and Netflix's Ted Sarandos. The agreement came after weeks of private discussions between the union and the producers.
