The Gothenburg Film Festival will produce and screen an AI-modified version of Ingmar Bergman's 'Persona'. In this version, Liv Ullmann's face is digitally replaced by Alma Pöysti. The experiment, called 'Another Persona', will be shown exclusively at the 2024 festival, followed by a discussion on acting and technology. The project aims to add an artistic and existential dimension to the debate about AI and film production.
