Actor Mathias Sercu has directed his own feature film called 'J'aime la vie'. It took eight years to write and perfect the screenplay. The film tells the story of Mira, a young single mother who tries to strengthen her family ties. The story has a personal meaning for Mathias, because both his brother and son have cancer. The film can be seen in Belgian cinemas from December 13.
