Dutch director Simon van der Zande is interviewed about his award-winning and confrontational short film Thank You For Your Patience! The film, shot in one take on a bus in Brussels, has been selected for the NEST Student Competition at the San Sebastian Film Festival. Van der Zande explains how the film illustrates the "avoidance strategies" of some white people when confronted with racism and colonial history.
