The Film Fund will encourage filmmakers to make their film productions more sustainable. Filmmakers can seek advice from an eco-consultant and receive funding for hiring an eco-manager. The new policy is intended to make filmmakers aware of the CO₂ impact of their project and to offer them opportunities to become more sustainable. The new sustainability rules come into effect for feature films that submit a development application from November.
