The Dutch film Sweet Dreams, directed by Ena Sendijarević and starring Renée Soutendijk, has been chosen as the Dutch Oscar entry in the International Feature Film category. The film, which won awards at the Locarno Film Festival earlier this month, is about the downfall of Dutch colonialism. Sweet Dreams can be seen from September 22 at the Netherlands Film Festival and a week later in Dutch cinemas.
