Polish cinematographer Janusz Kamiński, known for his collaboration with Steven Spielberg, and Stephen Lighthill, who shot the Oscar-nominated documentary Berkeley, will both receive special awards at the Annual Emerging Cinematographer Awards. Kamiński receives the Distinguished Filmmaker Award and Lighthill the ASC Mentor Award. The ceremony will take place on October 1 at the Saban Media Center Wolf Theater in North Hollywood.
