The proposal by American film studios and streaming services to end the writers' union strike has been rejected. According to the authors, the proposal does not provide sufficient protection. Among other things, the writers' union had demanded a 6 percent increase in base salary, while the offer was 5 percent. Other wishes were also not granted.
