In the Hollandse Nieuwe series, director Dario van Vree answers five questions about his film "I'm Perfectly Fine". The film is about Maya, a young woman who suddenly breaks down despite her 'perfect' life. The story is based on the comic diary "Burn-out Diary" by Maaike Hartjes. Van Vree wanted to make the film because the story is recognizable for many people who struggle with stress and high expectations. He is also working on a new animation project about spiritualism in late nineteenth century Amsterdam.
