The Dutch youth film Leeuwin has won the prize in the 10+ category at the Giffoni Film Festival. The film, directed by Raymond Grimbergen, tells the story of the Surinamese Rosi. It is the second youth film by Grimbergen, who previously directed Brugklas: The time of my life. Leeuwin is written by Jeroen Margry and Bodil Matheeuwsen and will appear in Dutch cinemas in 2023.
