Negotiations between SAG-AFTRA and Hollywood's major studios and streamers have stalled after calls to CEOs, a request for a postponement of the strike and rejected offers. Fran Drescher, president of SAG-AFTRA, made an impression with her opening speech in which she emphasized that the rise of streaming had to completely change contracts. Negotiations were difficult and eventually stalled on 12 July.
