Netflix has welcomed millions of new subscribers in recent months after the streaming service restricted account sharing with friends and family. Since March, it has added 5.9 million new subscribers, more than twice what analysts had predicted. Netflix now has more than 238 million subscribers worldwide. The growth is partly due to the fact that users now have to pay a higher monthly price if they want to share their account.
