The Hubert Bals Fund of the International Film Festival Rotterdam has announced the annual awards for the HBF+Europe programme. Twelve projects will receive €60,000 each and receive support at various stages of production. The fund focuses on filmmakers from countries with limited film funding and infrastructure. Past winners include Apitchatpong Weerasethakul and Rungano Nyoni.
