In the series Hollandse Nieuwe, director Marc Schmidt answers five questions about his film "If the night does not fall". The film is about prevention in psychiatry and the urge for control. Schmidt wants to show how far people go to optimize their well-being and what price they pay for this. He is also interested in negative experiences and how they shape us. Schmidt also talks about his future plans for a sf archive film.
