A man who robbed and beat up Amsterdam filmmaker Wouter van Luijn on Mallorca in July 2018 has been sentenced to 6.5 years in prison. The man, named Adrián HF, received 3.5 years in prison for violent robbery and 3 years for manslaughter. He also has to pay 150,000 euros in damages to Van Luijn's relatives. The judge ruled that Van Luijn had not died from drug and alcohol use, but from the hard blows he had received.
