SAG-AFTRA prepares for a possible strike as contract negotiations with major Hollywood studios intensify. The union has distributed a survey to its 160,000 members and is calling for volunteers to make signs, man telephone benches and hand out T-shirts at protests in Los Angeles, New York and other locations. The negotiations have been difficult because the union has put many demands on the table.
