The Kaboom Animation Festival is now an Oscar-qualifying festival. The winners in the Best Short Film and Best Dutch Short categories are automatically qualified to enter the Animated Short Film Competition. Every year, this offers a Dutch short animation film the chance to win an Oscar. The festival will take place from 5 to 14 April 2024.
