The Belgian TV series 1985 has won the Magnolia Prize at the Shanghai International TV Festival. The series, based on true facts about the Gang of Nijvel in the 1980s, is the first joint fiction project by VRT and RTBF. The series was previously shown at Cannesséries and the Berlinale Series. In 1985, we follow three friends whose lives become entwined with the infamous gang. Leading roles are played by Tijmen Govaerts, Aimé Claeys and Mona Mina Leon.
