The film 'Close' by director Lukas Dhont has won the LUX Audience Award of the European Parliament. The prize was awarded to Dhont and screenwriter Angelo Tijssens in the presence of Parliament President Roberta Metsola. 'Close' beat out four other nominated films, including Ruben Östlund's 'Triangle of Sadness'.
