Shortcutz, the platform for short film, has initiated the Amsterthem project together with the Dutch Directors Guild and the Music Institute MultiMedia. Seven teams are selected to create a short film that "captures the soul of the city". Participants receive a €3500 production budget and can use Canon cameras and lenses, lighting equipment from Aputure and other production resources from Vocas and Sachtler free of charge. The resulting films will have open-air screenings in the seven boroughs of Amsterdam in the spring of 2025.
