Production company Storytellers is working with director Bobby Boermans and screenwriter Michael Leendertse on the three-part drama series Holland Gate. The series is about the chaotic evacuation of Kabul after the takeover of power by the Taliban in 2021. Dutch commandos create a secret escape route in the fence, which they rename Holland Gate. The series follows four different main characters who try to find their way home. The drama series is inspired by true events and shows the impact and human perspectives behind this profound history.
