Actor Willem Nijholt has passed away at the age of 88. He played in dozens of musicals, films, series and theater plays and was also known as a jury member in the first series of Op Search Naar... Nijholt was born in Gombong and ended up in a Japanese camp with his parents when he was eight. After World War II, the family returned to the Netherlands.
