Asset manager Fortress Investment Group has acquired VICE Media for €322 million. The media company filed for bankruptcy over a month ago and there were several bidders. Fortress would be interested in parts of VICE and could resell part of the company to recoup the investment. VICE Media's CEOs expect the sale to close in July. Unions hope that Fortress will also look after the dismissed employees.
