The VPRO documentary 'Our man with the Taliban' has won the Silver Nipkow Disc 2023. Director Roel van Broekhoven and journalist Thomas Erdbrink received the prize. Director Roel van Broekhoven has already received a Silver Nipkow disc three times before. In 2015, together with Thomas Erdbrink, he received a Silver Nipkow disc for Onze man in Tehran.
