Clare Stewart has been appointed as the new business director of the International Film Festival Rotterdam. She succeeds Marjan van der Haar and has more than 25 years of experience in the creative industry, of which 18 years at leadership level. Stewart was previously Festival Director of the Sydney Film Festival and served as Director of the BFI London Film Festival and BFI Flare: London LGBTQIA+ Film Festival. For the past five years she has worked as a strategic, creative and development consultant for various clients, including the IFFR.
