In addition to screenings of the best films by new talent, the Rotterdams Open Doek Festival also offers master classes, a talk show, video installations, speed dates and DJs. The highlight is the election of the best short film shown during the past season at the monthly Open Doek evenings. A professional jury and the public determine the winner. The nominated films include Better a Pigeon, To the Moon and Maxi-Pad.
