Dutch screenwriters join the global day of action to support striking members of the Writers Guild of America. The strike in the United States has started because of dissatisfaction with the fees they receive from major streaming services such as Netflix. The Network of Screenwriters of the Authors' Union and the Dutch Directors Guild will meet on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Eye Filmmuseum in Amsterdam. Around twenty countries worldwide participate in Screenwriters Everywhere.
