Dutch film and television maker Bob Visser has died at the age of 73 from the effects of vascular dementia. Visser directed two full-length feature films, The field of honor and Plan Delta, and documentaries such as The Last Genius and My life as Deelder. He was also the central extra of the Video Center of the Rotterdamse Kunststichting and made videos to promote the civic participation of residents of old neighborhoods in Rotterdam.
