Filmmaker Anne Vaandrager has made a personal documentary called Sun in the night, in which she tells the story of her gay grandfather, who died of AIDS. It was a subject that was not discussed within the family. With the film, Anne tries to break the silence and lets actors take on the role of her grandfather and his wife in reenacted scenes.
