State Secretary Gunay Uslu (Culture) has agreed with the changes made by the coalition parties to her bill to oblige major streaming services such as Netflix and Disney to invest in Dutch productions. The requirements for companies have been relaxed considerably, so that less will be invested in films, documentaries and series than Uslu wanted. The coalition parties have agreed that only 60 percent of the investments need to end up with small, independent producers.
