The French film Anatomy of a Fall by director Justine Triet has won the Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival. The film is about a writer who is accused of murdering her husband. Triet is the third woman ever to win the prestigious film prize. The best actor award went to Kōji Yakusho for his role in Perfect Days and the best actress award to Merve Dizdar for her role in About Dry Grasses.
