A study of diversity and inclusion in the Dutch film and AV sector shows that the white narrative perspective is still dominant and that characters of color are often young and male. Female characters of color and stories from their perspective are all but absent. The Film Fund sees the report as an important mirror for the entire sector and recognizes the need for change. The fund is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion, but there is still a lot of work to be done.
