The coalition parties have reached a compromise on the investment obligation of streaming services such as Netflix, Disney and Amazon in Dutch productions. The original requirements will be relaxed, as a result of which the investment obligation will go from 80% to 60% and the requirements for the type of productions will be relaxed. Opposition parties are not pleased with the compromise that the coalition parties have reached, it became clear today during a new debate in the House of Representatives.
