Nafiss Nia, an Iranian-born filmmaker and poet, opened up the emotions of two refugees with her latest film 'That afternoon'. In her office in Amsterdam Nieuw-West, Nia develops all kinds of art projects and runs the Granate Foundation, which is committed to word artists with a bicultural background. Nia started her career as a filmmaker in Isfahan and later studied at the Film Academy in Tehran.
