A group of European writers has protested in Brussels in solidarity with the Writers Guild of America (WGA), which is currently on strike. The protest was organized by the Federation of Screenwriters in Europe (FSE), which represents 31 writers' organizations from 25 different European countries. The WGA demands better compensation and support for the impact of new AI technology on writers' work. The protest took place in front of the European headquarters of the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA).
