The musical Blind Date, with eight Musical Awards nominations, is being filmed by director Johan Nijenhuis. The film will be shot next year and will include some songs from the performance. Leading actors Freek Bartels and Brigitte Heitzer are not yet sure of their role in the film. Nijenhuis has especially fallen for the "sparkling and funny" dialogues of the Dutch production.
