Cilia van Dijk, an Oscar-winning animation producer, has passed away at the age of 81 after a short illness. She won the Oscar in 1986 as producer of the short animated film Anna & Bella, directed by Børge Ring. Van Dijk also produced many films by her husband, artist Gerrit van Dijk. She was made a Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau and was a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
