The votes on the Investment Obligation Bill have been postponed for the fourth time by the House of Representatives. This is because the House has not yet been able to take note of the new/adjusted amendments announced by the governing parties. The Dutch independent production sector is concerned about the dilution of the bill, which obliges streaming services to invest 4.5% of their annual turnover generated in the Netherlands in Dutch films, documentaries and series.
