The French media company Mediawan has taken a majority stake in the Dutch production company Submarine. Submarine produces several types of audiovisual productions, including the Golden Calf winner Come Here I Kiss You and the documentary Bellingcat: Truth in a Post-Truth World. Mediawan wants to develop into one of the leading European production companies and previously bought the production house Plan B from actor Brad Pitt.
