The IDFA has signed the lease for the Vondelpark pavilion, where a 'trial run' will take place after the summer. The theater will be open daily after the renovation and offers space for documentaries, installations, workshops and debates. With a permanent location, IDFA hopes to attract young and new audiences and to better profile itself as a stage for talent development and education. The Municipality of Amsterdam, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and various funds support the project.
