European producer organizations criticize the Dutch bill regarding the investment obligation for streaming platforms. The European Producers Club and the European Audiovisual Production association call for the bill not to be watered down, as this would undermine the Dutch film industry. The organizations advocate a guarantee that the 4.5% of the annual turnover of streamers goes to Dutch productions made by independent makers. The threshold for payment must be lowered from €10 million to €2 million.
