Belgian actor Johan Leysen died unexpectedly of a cardiac arrest at the age of 73. Leysen played in numerous Dutch and Flemish productions and gained international acclaim with his roles in Anton Corbijn's thriller The American and television series The Spiral. He was nominated for the Golden Calf in 1997 and won the award a year later for his role in Felice... Felice....
